The mural was commissioned for a living space. The customer would like to incorporate nature in the piece to create a relaxing feel. Therefore, I picked the ginkgo leaves as inspiration, the leaves have a beautiful and unique shape, it is also featured in Japanese decors frequently, which is an aesthetic that the customer enjoys.
