Geiko, the lady of the arts. by Keinom in Berlin

Geiko, the lady of the arts.

Geikos are also known as the ladies of the arts. I have a great fascination for Asia. Not just since I spent many months there and learnt to love Asian culture. Asian aesthetics and Buddhist philosophy have also had a great influence on me and my art. I've never been to Japan, but the country has always fascinated me. The picture shows a geiko or geisha in front of a window with a traditional wooden pattern and a hint of cherry blossom in the background.
