Game of Truths by Kasey Christie in Glasgow

This oil painting was inspired by evenings spent in my flat playing card games with close friends. Created between Glasgow and Edinburgh, the piece explores themes of friendship, connection, and shared experiences. Using oil paint on canvas, I developed the work through layered mark-making and careful attention to texture and detail, allowing the atmosphere of these gatherings to emerge naturally. The final painting was presented as a single work to encourage focused engagement with the scene and its personal significance.
