Meet the Artist
Singapore, SingaporeI am Amanda, I’m a mural artist & illustrator born in Bangkok, raised between Thailand & Singapore.
In my works you’ll notice recurring features of femininity, nature, wildlife & hints of my personality as a child growing up between two countries.
My work explores romanticised fusions of traditions & cultural practices I’ve grown up with, celebrating cultures in forms explorational painting styles. & mediums. Much of my style is influenced by my background in Fashion, every illustration an eloquent narrative, every subject adorned with grace & respect for my subjects & the things i’ve experienced.
Growing up I’ve spent many holidays in nature, so much of my artistic repertoire pays homage to nature & animals with reverence, appreciating their impact & sacrifices.
I enjoy immersing myself in diverse cultures, continuously expanding my practice & my heart. I've been fortunate to have participated in many murals across singapore in varying sizes, & I look forward to expanding my portfolio with you
