Gaia COP26 Mural - Glasgow by Christian in Glasgow
Gaia COP26 Mural - Glasgow
Created in collaboration with Art Pistol Projects for COP26, ‘Gaia’ was painted outside the old Queen Elizabeth maternity building in Glasgow. The mural was designed to cover and transform the disused façade, bringing colour and meaning to the site during the climate summit. The piece portrays a serene female figure surrounded by flowing botanical forms — a personification of Mother Earth, symbolising renewal, protection, and our connection to nature. This was one of my proudest projects, both for its scale and its message of hope and environmental awareness.
