Lady JDay is a young and promising French street artist, based in New-York, strongly influenced by women empowerment. More than a simple guidance, engagement and fighting are fully part of her work. She is deeply involved in women’s rights movement and social justice, and her paintings strongly reflect her engagement.
Her colorful and lively work, with expressive features, testifies to her ability to feel and relay emotions. She has been exhibited in Paris, Los Angeles, and New York, she has participated in international performances of Street Art in Paris, Dubaï, New-York, Los Angeles, Bruxelles, Séoul, Busan, Beijing, London and San Francisco.
In 2020, she won an international contest for the campaign Dysturb #artistsagainstaninfodemic.
Lady Jday was a starring participant in several events that have a distinguished reputation international, for example, The Longest Graffiti Scroll in The World,The record was set on November 30th 2014 in Dubaï and registered in the Guinness world record book. She was awarded, in November 2015, the international competition #womenclimatejustice, awarded in New-York in the framework of the COP 21. Lady Jday also received the "Discovery" prize awarded by the international Salon ARBUSTES in 2013. Grand Salon d'Art Arbustes is under the patronage of the French Minister of Culture.
