Freedom is Yours

Everyones truth is different and unique, Perception is everything. When dramatic events happen in our lives that are beyond our control it is often difficult to come to terms with the situation, it can be very frustrating and become a major source of stress. The truth is, we can only control ourselves and our decisions in how we chose to deal with the situation. I have found that even in the hardest moments it is ultimately my choice to change my mind from the first impulse on how I deal with it. The dove, a symbol of peace, flies off freely once it is released; all you have to do is let it go! The challenge is figuring out why I’m holding on so tight in the first place. The more I practice a different approach, the more peace and freedom I feel.
