Four Rescue Chickens by Sophia Connell in Ascot Vale

They told me that the chickens who live in the garden, love to eat nasturtium flowers and often sit near the apple tree. The orange background matches the door colour and art deco sun stain glass window in the house. Before painting I spent time with the rescue chickens to convey their ‘personas’.
