Folkloric Alphabet by Karla-Maria Campbell in Hamilton
Folkloric Alphabet
These signature folk art style has been my post popular design. They are inspired by traditional art popularized by Salvadorian artist Fernando Llort.
This design has been used in stickers, prints and surface patterns.
I’m a Hamilton-based Latina muralist and illustrator who creates bold, colorful work inspired by Latin American culture, storytelling, and identity.
I’ve painted murals in Ontario and Alberta and love working on both indoor and outdoor walls that brighten up communities. My design style is graphic, vibrant, playful, and deeply rooted in cultural storytelling—blending bold colors, hand-drawn textures, and heartfelt details. I’m passionate about creating art that reflects the experiences of second-generation immigrants and brings people together through joyful, intentional design.
When I’m not painting or illustrating, you’ll usually find me singing, dancing, parenting, or dreaming up my next big project!
