Fly like a butterfly sting like a bee Ode to Ali
This is a community wall beautifying project in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was asked to have colorful and inspiring art on a new wall that was put up (un-rendered) to protect a new parking area from street debris. I participated by putting this depiction of columbine flowers as a shout out to Colorado for anyone to get interested in and this bee/butterfly from Muhammad Ali’s famous quote.

Longmont, United StatesI am a Longmont, CO based artist. An artist driven by heartbreak and hope, but as there is so much heartbreaking stuff taking place I try to keep myself and others uplifted with bright, colorful and often whimsical scenarios and subjects. I enjoy painting with acrylic, using spray paints for larger scale and mosiacs have been fun as well. What I love about creating art is being able to spark a moment that can bring a smile or even a quizical (what the hell is going on here) moment in a viewer who may be dealing with something much heavier and hard on their soul. I try to bring some light and positivity into this crazy home we call the world.
