I'm a Melbourne visual artist and art teacher who works in a wide variety of media and
styles. Recently I have been focusing on landscape and abstract artworks, where I have
been exploring the ways in which I can being the natural environment alive while fusing traditional and contemporary influences. I moved to Canberra as a young adult where I held my first joint exhibition at the age of 20. I completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the Australian National University School of Art where I majored in painting. I’ve since participated in further exhibitions, installations and collaborations, including illustrating a children’s book, participating in group exhibitions and creating mural artworks. I work in a wide variety of media, from traditional painting and drawing mediums –acrylics, watercolors, oils, inks, charcoals, pastels and pens -to aerosol, tattooing, wood-burning, sculpture, digital art and collage. I enjoy working in traditional genres of painting and drawing and I keep up my practice by regularly attending life drawing sessions, preparing for exhibitions and engaging with the wider art community.
