Acrylic on canvas 900x 1500 Flowered bonds tells a story of my personal life, with me at the centre working on the computer. The people around me are people who are closest to me and below are people from the dance community seen with the checkerboard dance lino. The people towards the back are my family in the Philippines, eating at our traditional Filipino table. The blue lady holding flowers is a metaphor for "mother nature" or "fate" who has gifted me these people in my life. A year ago I had no idea who these were people were but you can say "fate" drew us together. The flowers are representations of those people in life, who you'd never expect to meet, but are blessings now.
