I am Shalini Pillai, a multidisciplinary artist and creative facilitator with over 15 years of personal experience in art and 4+ years of professional experience creating and teaching art across different mediums. My work is deeply rooted in intuitive expression, colour exploration, emotional storytelling, and creative healing. I have facilitated art workshops for beginners, children, and adults, guiding participants through painting, abstract expression, intuitive art, texture work, and creative exploration using a variety of materials and brushes. My sessions focus not only on technique, but also on helping people feel confident, relaxed, and connected to their own creativity. I have experience: * Teaching painting and intuitive art workshops in both online and in-person settings. * Working with acrylics, mixed media, texture art, colour layering, and expressive brush techniques. * Guiding beginners in understanding brush control, mark-making, blending, texture creation, and creative composition. * Supporting children and individuals with different learning needs through sensory and process-based art activities. * Creating a warm, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment where students can freely experiment and develop their own artistic style. Alongside teaching, I have also worked on commissioned artworks and continue to develop my own artistic practice inspired by mysticism, nature, feminine energy, and emotional expression through colour and form.
