Fishbowl Effect
This piece is about emotional overwhelm. The fishbowl effect of seeing through a distorted lens, the mind swimming in a limited set of thoughts with nowhere to go but round and round. There's a squid inking up her view from the lotus that she holds, a symbol of rest and peace after triumph over obstacles. The snake winds and constricts around the neck; so long as she struggles to understand and express herself, believe in what she's capable of, the snake will be a stranglehold. So break the glass and learn to be a snakecharmer is the takeaway.

London, United KingdomI love to depict the uniqueness of portraiture, what it means to be human, to illustrate our deep interconnection with the Universe and the symbolism of all that surround us. I also like things with humour that can bring a smile to someone's face and tend to earmark my pieces with hat tips and individual references. I like to play with vibrant colour and an element of surrealism while maintaining the detail of realism.
