Fish under the sea Where’s Wally Inspired by Spry Design in Fareham

My journey started when I was 12 years old. My parents were out for the day and I decided to paint on my wall. I expected them to come home and be annoyed with me, but instead, they loved it! My mum shared it on Facebook, and that led to me getting my first commissioned mural at just 12 years old. That’s when I decided that this will be my career. At 15 years old, I was still in school, and I had officially started my mural business, and Spry Design was born. For the next 5 years I kept painting murals and mastered my craft. In that time I have done work for people’s homes and business across the south. I worked together with the children’s cancer charity ‘The Amelia Mae Foundation’, and together we painted the children’s ward in a hospital in Somerset. We painted a wall in the waiting room, and the ceiling in the treatment. The mural in the waiting room was designed to keep the children happy and distracted from the fact they were in hospital being treated for cancer. The mural in the treatment room was a glow in the dark galaxy painting on the ceiling, to again help distract and relax the children when they were having their treatment. My latest adventure has been joining the ‘Murwalls’ team, and we recently did work in Liverpool at Anfield Stadium for Liverpool Football Club. The positive impact I have seen murals bring to people has been life changing, and it’s my favourite part of my job. Not only do I get to do what I love for a living, but I get to bring so much joy and happiness to people through art.
