This mural is outside of an indoor climbing gym at a kids recreational center. It was the first mural I ever did and I was terrified to start it, but then elated once it was finished! I look back at this project fondly, even though I think now I would push the highlights and shadows more to create more of a 3D affect.
Meet the Artist
Denver, United StatesI am a Denver artist who specializes in realistic nature-inspired paintings. Often my work incorporates layers of resin throughout the layers of paint to create depth and shadows within the piece. I recently have been focusing on building my mural portfolio by painting on whatever walls and furniture I can get her hands on (my inner child is very happy about this).
