The Los Angeles–born artist of Mexican descent is best known as an oil painter, muralist, and graphic designer. She channels her creativity across multiple mediums, fusing traditional techniques with contemporary design to create a visual language that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. A self-taught artist who later earned her B.A. in Art from California State University, Northridge, Laura’s practice explores portraiture, cultural identity, and reflections of the universal emotions, connections, and moments that define the human experience. Her first mural, proudly proclaiming “Make Love Not War,” has become a celebrated landmark in Lennox—a tribute to her community’s Mexican roots and resilience amid Inglewood’s gentrification. Laura’s commitment to creating from the heart has earned her national recognition, including the Deja Tu Huella Scholarship Award from Cheetos and Latin artist Bad Bunny, who honored her for using art to uplift her community. Whether on canvas, walls, or digital screens, she continues to expand her creative reach—transforming ideas into art that’s alive with purpose.
