“Fields” 120x80 cm by Arina in Melbourne

“Fields” 120x80 cm

One of the paintings in art collection “Sacred Geometry”. Currently exhibiting at Mars Pop Art Festival, Wuhan, China The mathematical model of the self-organized fields shows that on an inclined surface where the flow is in one direction, the result should be stripes of vegetation, while on a flat surface the flow is more controlled by random small topographic irregularities and the pattern is patchier. Like the structures of self-organized fields, we create our habitat: transport networks, districts, cities, which should be perceived as ecosystems with their metabolism. Unfortunately, people are not as good as nature in managing what they have created. Therefore, man-made systems tend to collapse.
