Feed Me

Feed Me Oil and Threads on Canvas - 60x45 cm I left a piece of my soul in this painting. "Feed Me" captures the delicate yet powerful relationship between mother and child in a moment of pure trust. The maternal figure, full of care and devotion, offers a tangle of colourful threads—symbolizing microplastics and pollutants, invisible yet inevitably present in our daily lives. Soft brushstrokes and warm tones create an intimate and reassuring atmosphere, contrasting with the vibrant explosion of threads—a silent warning of an underestimated danger. The child, with an open mouth and innocent trust, becomes a symbol of all future generations, vulnerable and unaware of what they are being given. This tension between care and potential harm seeks to touch the observer’s heart, inviting reflection on our collective responsibility toward the environment and the future of those who come after us. Feed Me urges us to look beyond the apparent normality, to question what we consume, and to recognize the power of each action in shaping tomorrow. Crafted with delicate strokes and the material presence of the threads, the painting evokes both protection and unease, encouraging deep empathy for the scene and a sincere desire for change. The viewer cannot help but feel emotionally involved, inspired toward a renewed awareness and a greater sense of responsibility for life itself.
