Fee Boss
This is such a special piece for me. My first human portrait! I was so excited (and a little nervous) when Fee approached me to commission it. She wanted to surprise her boyfriend, Tim, for his 30th birthday. She provided me with a few images of her and their beloved dog 'Boss' and a rough colour scheme but she really left full creative license with me.
I went all out with a watercolour and ink portrait on A1 paper. I used some pastels on Boss to add some softness.
Tim was so happy receiving it that it reduced him to tears. A very happy handover, all round.

Lake Coogee, AustraliaHi! I’m a mixed media artist based near Fremantle, Perth. I love telling your stories through texture and bright colours. I’m open to new subjects and themes but beachscapes and portraits are where it’s at for me.
I have been bringing other’s stories to life on paper and canvas for the past 4 years and I recently plucked up the courage and released my first series of ‘Neon Beaches’ where I gave a second life to old, unloved canvases (your recycled goods are my treasure). With a Graphic Design and Illustration background, I have a varied skill set and I am looking forward to taking this to walls.
