My name is Natalie, an artist based in Perth, Western Australia. I have lived most of my life in Australia since my family emigrated from the United Kingdom when I was a child. I have been drawing or painting as far back as I can remember.  As soon as I was able to pick-up a crayon and scribble, I drew pictures at every opportunity; sometimes driving my family crazy with the constant noise of a pencil making its mark on the page. I have always known that I wanted to pursue art as a career, but I always thought it would be impossible to paint all day and actually get paid to do it, or so I was lead to believe! So when I finished school I began studies at Curtin University where I worked towards a Bachelor of Design.  After a few years, I became increasingly frustrated by the limitation of my creativity imposed upon me by the computer, so I decided to travel the world to broaden my horizons. Now, years later I have finally decided to pursue that dream job of painting all day!  My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I consider it to be one of the most rewarding jobs: creating something special through an artistic lens, bringing someone else's vision to life or to be involved to make a couple's wedding day even more special.
