Eyes wide shut
Eyes wide shut I chose to unsee.
Eyes wide shut I fought the wrong battles, ignoring the ones that hurt and count the most.
For what we can’t unsee to be whole,
Eyes wide open I acknowledge and let go.
Eyes wide open I replace resentment by learning.
Eyes wide open I choose to bring a smile back and soothe these memories.
All these life stories that make us beautiful complex being, I see them as this flower, this ornament that makes us one of a kind.
Meet the Artist
Melbourne, AustraliaI am an artist originally from Paris. I studied there art and graphic design and ESAG Penninghen, a renowned french institution. I learned there about art, art history, painting, drawing, with the luck to be able to practice a draw in the numerous museums from the capital. This academic education, nourished by the architectural and pictural beauties that Paris can offer are part of my vision, a representative art. But from an early age, though I was always attracted by the italian renaissance painting and particularly the beauty of the feminine figures pictured by Boticelli, I've had a special appreciation for surrealist painters such as Magritte and Dali. This twist is always present in my paintings.
I moved 7 years ago to Australia, first in Melbourne where I exhibited paintings at Off the Kerb Gallery in Collingwood, Sol Gallery in Fitzroy and Linden Art Gallery.
I take commissions and especially love to work on portraits and tropical scenerie
