My work often reflects the interconnectedness of nature and humankind, blurring the manufactured divisions of what separates us humans from one another and from Mother Nature herself. I believe it is the artist’s job to reflect on the world in which we are currently living, to uplift voices that are silenced, and to inspire curiosity and hope. The work I create intentionally engages viewers by evoking emotion and invites them to extrapolate their own meaning from the imagery. My hope is to inspire others to question what we take for granted, to challenge our perceptions of reality, and to warp our perspectives so that we may see the world in a different light or through another lens. The possibilities of our future are endless and it is up to those who dare to dream it.
