Exorcism in The Woods by Isiah Schendel in Ames

I've been a fan of Gabriel the Devil Hunter ever since I discovered him back in 2022. Since then, he's been a fascinating character from his design to his abilities to his story. I drew this piece by drawing out the characters, adding a layer of perspective by having the demon possessed person closer and bigger in comparison. I added the back ground around the characters, from the trees to the grass, adding shading on the trees further away as a way of showing perspective. I outlined the characters and the closer background, while leaving the further background elements with no outline. The grass was accomplished by coloring the ground green and then zigzagging closely while applying extra pressure to the color pencil.
