EX CENTER Mural by Papalago in Tangerang
EX CENTER Mural
Located in one of Jakarta's most prestigious mall area, Plaza Indonesia. Existing hoarding wall, approximately 36 m x 3 m. Outdoor wall with a very rough plaster surface. The mural was made with airbrush technique using a speed gun and air compressor, combined with aerosol and brushes. In this project, I team up with 10 crew members, each with specific tasks to support the mural process.
Meet the Artist
Tangerang, IndonesiaI am a Jakarta-based artist who works across a multitude of mediums and a range of environments. Currently I live in Tangerang City near Jakarta.
I've been painting and creating artwork since 1997 and have worked in many creative fields such as illustration, graphic design, animation and video editing.
My passion for mural art began in 2000 and since then I have created a commissioned mural across Indonesia. Mostly mural projects in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bogor and Bekasi. Some art pieces are made to be displayed in Bandung, Cirebon, Bali and Batam.
I love working on large scale projects or projects with rough surfaces, because it's very challenging.
