Everyday life in the mind of Chen
This artwork represents both everyday life in Asia and the thoughts that occur in my mind. I have referenced Asian culture, such as Chinese and Japanese. The fantastical elements and creatures that appear in my artwork are things that occur in my head; I usually imagine creatures and weird scenarios where they live peacefully with other creatures. Artists that have influenced me range from Japanese and Chinese artists to multicultural artworks I have seen in museums.

Carlton, AustraliaI am a 19 year old Chinese Artist from the NT who had just recently moved to Melbourne! I've been pursuing art since 2015 and have dabbled in multiple mediums such as: Watercolour and ink painting, Graffiti/Mural painting, 3d modeling, Clay sculpting, Character designing, and Chalk art!
I have enjoyed Mural painting medium ever since I've been offered to paint Darwin's skatepark. I also love doing watercolour and ink painting and once managed to get my art on Darwin Museum's brochures!
