This mural in Ely, Minnesota was such an incredible project to bring to life. Covering over 80 feet wide and 12 feet tall, one of my largest pieces to date. The design celebrates Ely’s Northwoods spirit and aviation history with bold pine trees, layered forests, a reflective lake, and those big billowing clouds in warm yellows and oranges. I tied it all together with deep blues and greens to keep it vibrant and welcoming. For me, it’s more than just a mural, it’s a landmark that highlights the beauty of the area and brings people together.
