EdwardsX Mural by angieqc in Vancouver

I was commissioned to create a mural for Edwards X, a custom uniform and apparel company based in Vancouver, BC. This mural celebrates the art of apparel design, and the team of people who make them. In this composition, different shapes come together - much like the pieces of a garment- to create something greater than the sum of its parts. A few distinct elements of sewing (stitching, scissors, buttons, a measuring tape) and the negative space (x) of the EdwardsX logo are woven into the design to highlight the craftsmanship of each piece of clothing. The inclusion of sewing patterns and tools in the composition celebrates Edwards’ craft, paying homage to the skilled hands and creative minds that drive the organization forward. Just as every piece of fabric is essential in crafting a perfect garment, every employee's unique contribution is vital to the company's success. This mural is a tribute to their collective effort, creativity, and the dedication that makes EdwardsX what it is today.
