Echoes of Jonker Walk by ANDY CHOK in Kuala Lumpur
Echoes of Jonker Walk
This mural captures a hidden artistic corner along the historic Jonker Street in Melaka. Hanging overhead is a colorful canopy of traditional Chinese oil-paper umbrellas, decorated with delicate floral and bird motifs. The mural beautifully depicts classic Nyonya culture and bustling street scenes, featuring a woman in a traditional Kebaya and a local vendor at work. The photo masterfully blends the depth of the alleyway with a burst of nostalgic colors, celebrating Malaccan history and street art.
