Don Quixote through La Roda by Guirao in Melbourne
Don Quixote through La Roda
The project "Don Quixote through La Roda," commissioned by La Roda's Council in Albacete, Spain, aimed to create a mural at the town's entrance. The mural artistically interprets "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes, depicting the characters' journey through La Roda, starting in the wilderness and ending in the historical Main Square. Featuring the Church of El Salvador, it highlights La Roda's traditional architecture. Don Quixote's iconic status and a vibrant, high-saturated color palette were chosen to appeal to both older and younger audiences, making the mural a captivating spectacle for all.
