Dino Crystals by Tintograma in Mexico City
Dino Crystals
I tried to draw a dinosaur in a fantastical setting, inspired by the Jurassic Park films. My goal was to keep an engraving-style look while blending it with an extremely colorful palette.
Meet the Artist
Mexico City, MexicoI’ve loved drawing and illustration since I was a kid. I grew up surrounded by Asterix and Obelix comics, Moebius, and all sorts of art books. I took art classes from a young age, so experimenting with styles and getting lost in drawing has always felt natural to me.
These days, I work mostly with ink—digital or traditional—with a vintage-but-modern vibe that works great for designs that want elegance or something eye-catching. I also do digital illustrations in color or black and white, from landscapes and animals to nature and fantasy pieces, anywhere from minimalist to more realistic styles. I’ve created magazine and book covers, T-shirt designs, stickers, mobile cards, and beer labels for a couple of Mexican breweries.
I’m also a tattoo artist—@tintograma on Instagram—working mainly in two styles: high-contrast minimalism and an engraving-inspired look. I’ve been tattooing for six years now, and I’m always happy to help with advice or custom design ideas.
