Diamond Creek by Hoffy in Melbourne

Mural design for the Diamond Creek Mural Festival. Situated in Melbourne’s green and leafy outer north east, Diamond Creek is a beautiful part of the world I call home. This is my abstract take on our community, all the big and little things that mesh together to create a sense of belonging and fun. From the tiny blossoming yellow buttons to the singing birdlife, the creek, parklands and platypus if you’re lucky enough to spot one! The walking trails, buildings, schools, sporting clubs, good coffee, community groups, the arts and big bang fireworks of the festival. All of this teamed with a town of people from all walks of life, willing to lend a hand is what makes our colourful community. Initially created as a small paper collage then re-worked into a digital collage for large format print.
