Deutsche Bahn I Berlin, Hamburg, Waechtersbach (& other various cities) by Graffitiartist in Berlin

Deutsche Bahn I Berlin, Hamburg, Waechtersbach (& other various cities)

The graffiti agency "Artmos4" recently completed an impressive graffiti project in which they artistically decorated train stations for Deutsche Bahn. When you think of Deutsche Bahn and graffiti, the first images that come to mind are often of spray-painted trains and wild scribblings. Unfortunately, this is often the reality, as what is a fleeting thrill of the forbidden for teenagers costs Deutsche Bahn millions annually to repair the damage caused by graffiti. Almost all surfaces that the railway offers are targeted by illegal sprayers: local and freight trains, S-Bahn trains, bridge pillars, station entrances, waiting shelters, noise barriers, and so on. For Deutsche Bahn, it is crucial to clean these surfaces, as they are essentially the company’s business card. The approach to wall design The team, led by Marcus Dörr, spray-painted many walls in collaboration with Deutsche Bahn using stencil templates to create raster images. The preparations for the project were no easy task for the graffiti artists. Marcus Dörr and his team had to work carefully and precisely in the office to create the templates. However, the final results were impressive and showed that the hard work had paid off. But luckily, there's us. We have a very effective solution to the costly graffiti problem: graffiti as graffiti protection. Deutsche Bahn recognized this too, and together with us, they have already completed many versatile projects. Whether it's entire train stations, waiting shelters by the tracks, or complete station entrances, we act where illegal sprayers once did. We then seal all our designs with a special protective coating, making any later scribblings washable. And the result is visually appealing as well – not only does it look great, but it also makes any financial advisor's heart race, as the savings are immense. Our wall designs can be seen at these stations: The stations in Aachen, Geilenkirchen, Neuss, and Berlin Adlershof were artistically decorated, as well as regional buildings and the surrounding areas through the wall design. These stations now not only have a new visual appeal but also a cultural enrichment for the cities and the train passengers. The Artmos4 project proves that graffiti doesn’t always have to be seen as vandalism but can also be considered a legitimate art form that brings life to both public spaces and buildings. We can now look forward to a future where more such creative projects will enrich the cities and public transportation systems.
