Michela is an illustrator and muralist based in Brooklyn, NY. She started off as a freelance artist creating comic strips and animated cartoons. Her work has been displayed in galleries throughout Europe and the U.S. and reviewed in art books and art magazines. She currently works mainly as a muralist. Among her clients: Museum of Urban Arts, Industry City, Beyond at Liberty View, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Union Square Partnership, Carnegie Hall and many others. In September 2017 she was selected as one of the 10 artists for the Sprocket Mural Festival in Harrisburg, PA and had the honor to create a mural for the Broad Street Market, the oldest continuously operating farmers markets in the USA. She currently collaborates with different NYC based non-profit organizations with whom she creates community murals in the NYC area.
