This resin piece is larger than life, at 48×60 inches, and has a unique energy that is imbued into whatever room it graces. Depths has mysterious, flowing waters below juxtaposed with the frenetic waves above, giving it at once a calm and lively feel that will draw the eye and mind to find yourself getting lost in it. Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesI grew up around the arts (mother is a sculptor, father a writer), I went to school at The Art Institute of California - San Francisco, where I studied a BS in Media Arts & Animation. I was hired out of college at Lucasfilm, where I worked for 7 years as a Designer and Art Director on the Star Wars brand, including various animated series, and some of the more recent films. I have always done fine art in my spare time and have more recently gotten into resin as a particularly interesting medium that straddles 2D and 3D. You can see some of my resin paintings and sculptures here, along with examples of all my work on my website.
