Denim Woven Tile by Mindy Pantuso in San Antonio

I’m a fiber artist based in San Antonio, Texas. The story behind my business was to do something for myself while going through post partum depression after having my second baby. I taught myself to weave on a weaving loom and made art for myself. Soon enough I was making art for my friends and family. Mpwovenn Fiberart was my creative outlet and also my therapy. I find my inspiration from the fibers I use creating new texture and dimension. Woven Tile Wall Hangings are pops of color, pops of texture and pops of fun. A series of woven tiles together in different colors or just adding a woven tile to a gallery wall makes a great conversation piece for any space. My process was to “think outside the frame.” I didn’t want the fiber art to be contained within a frame but to embrace it and take hold of it.
