The heart is infinite. But how can one explain that an artist creates both with the heart and the soul… Zhanar Sagidolla is a Kazakhstan artist and designer, born on September 19, 1994, in Almaty. She has been living and working in USA since . In 2013, she graduated from the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, where she studied painting, sculpture, and graphics. Afterward, she continued her education in her third year at KazGASA, majoring in “Design, ” and earned her bachelor’s degree in 2016. In 2016, Zhanar returned to the KazNAI for her master’s degree, and immediately after completing her studies, she participated in the group exhibition “Awakening” in Almaty and held a solo exhibition at the Kazakh State Philharmonic. In 2019, she devoted time to tattoo artistry, working in this field for about six months. During this period, she lived in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2020, she began actively promoting herself through Instagram. Since then, she has participated in various projects, including illustrations for HomeCredit Bank, Geek Picnic, and collaborations with iQanat and Wolt. Her works include illustrations for books such as “The Nomad Girl” and “Domalak Ana” , as well as partnerships with brands like Coca-Cola and LAY’S. She has also exhibited her work in Europe and became a member of the Eurasian Union of Designers and Artists. Zhanar continues to actively create illustrations for major companies and participate in international projects, including EXPO in China.
