In ancient Greece, it is said that Princess Danae was hidden from view in a windowless tower, through which Zeus descended and united with her in the form of a gold rain. And what if Danae now found herself in a garden, blue with night, savoring her love under the moonlight? This work is an oil with 23 carat Gold leaf on a wood panel.
