I picked up Dad as the subject for my Lester Prize entry in 2021, as he is one of the kindest, considerate and loving men I've ever known. It is all done in graphite pencil and photographed by me.
Meet the Artist
Helena Valley, AustraliaI am a Perth Hills based artist, I mainly draw realistic graphite portraits of people. I have dabbled in many different mediums including; painting, ink, sculpture, leather making and jewellery making. I still create jewellery and leather goods for sale, so if anyone is interested please get in touch! I have been drawing since I was a child, and just like the seeing how detailed I can get my pictures to look.
