I am a Berlin based artist, born and raised in Karl-Marx-Stadt (now Chemnitz), a renowned textile hub of former East Germany. My artistic journey took flight in 2008 when I relocated to Jerusalem, Israel. This pivotal move not only marked the beginning of my formal art studies but also reconnected me with my family and heritage, deeply influencing both my artistic identity and creative expression.
Throughout my career, I have continually challenged the boundaries of traditional artistic media. My interdisciplinary approach and diverse educational background have allowed me to develop a distinctive visual language that flows seamlessly across artistic disciplines. My work is always site-specific, thoughtfully integrated into the character and environment of each space.
Whether I'm creating site-specific murals, illustrations, large-scale paintings, collages, pattern designs, or art books, my endless curiosity fuels my exploration of space in all its poetic dimensions. My portfolio reflects a wide range of exhibitions and projects, each embodying my personal perspective and creative vision.
A significant thread running through my work is my connection to textiles—a link to my hometown that only became clear years later. Working with fabrics, far from home, I reconnected with what felt most familiar. Whether in installations, murals, textile collages, or in painting and drawing, the element of structure plays a central role. Layering different textures or working with wool has become a signature of my artistic approach.
