Cosmic Dissonance
Cosmic Dissonance was painted in my series of 13 for the muse. This came about towards the end of the year. When I was realizing that we worked better apart. For some reason we were always located 8 hours apart from each other. It worked better than it did in person. We were just star crossed. I painted the amora nebula and felt many things. Then you have mars and venus here. The werewolf and girl. Whose story started many years ago. This would be the last painting I let them play together on. As well as the first. I made stencils of them and this was the first time I brought them together. I envisioned myself holding on to my heart while setting the butterflies free.

Meet the Artist
Newkirk, United StatesI am an Oklahoma based artist. I grew up in Oklahoma and just returned after 20 years. Love inspires all my work. I have been passionate about art for my entire life. I've done commissions for a few business but mostly, I've worked with private clients. I graduated suma cum laude with my degree in Fine Arts, in 2011. I have amazing technical skills. My last show was a group show at Studio Noho, in Los Angeles. It was called tiny embers, small paintings with big ideas. Through the years I have been working mainly in surrealism. Which, I fell in love with thanks to Kay Sage, Dali, and Frida. I would love to work on something for you.
