Commissioned by the Mayor of Bogotá for the "Open Museum of Bogotá," this mural transforms the streets into a living museum. Depicting the cycle of nature, it portrays a female character which is personified through a nurturing palm that provides for birds, which, in turn, reach the cities. The artwork emphasizes interconnectedness, illustrating the harmonious cycle of life.
I’m a Colombian visual artist and designer. Two powerful themes define my style: the female universe and the force of nature. The figurative details as well as the expressiveness of features celebrate the strength of female characters in contrast to the delicacy of their lively contexts. The colorful depiction of the flora and fauna is inspired by my experiences immersed in the Andes mountains, the Caribbean coast and the Amazon jungle.
