This piece is a 1.5m by 1.5m canvas work. It’s almost the size of a mural, all painted by hand with a brush to creat in-depth detail. The subject matter is an abstract interpretation of a pohutukawa tree. I created the design through using a refrance image and then editing digitally to create a new style of image.
