This piece represents the effects that to many inputs has on a decision. I read something recently that explained why it took so long for cigarettes to be widely regarded as unhealthy by the public desire the mountains of evidence to support it. All the tobacco companies need to do was pay a small few reputable scientists to advocate for the so called health benefits. It shows how doubt is all that’s needed to discredit factual information.
