Clarity by Chante in Waihi Beach

I am a self taught artist based in Waihi Beach, a small town on the coast of Aotearoa New Zealand. Creativity has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Art is my escape, it helps me process the world and something I've never put down from school years to now. I work primarily with graphite, acrylics and oil pastels. My art explores emotion, symbolism and the human experience. My art style sits between realism and expressive abstraction often leaning toward darker introspective themes. My work is driven by intuition, mood and storytelling.
