My work is intimate, fluid and spontaneous. I enjoy wading into the waters of the unknown when it comes to techniques, mediums and tools.The acrylic paints and mediums I use are useful in creating loose abstracts. I have always nurtured the need to experiment with the media I work with. Using mediums I can expand the physical capabilities of color. Depth is important to me when creating the abstract, as is creating dynamic textures, unifying luster, increasing transparency and velocity. I enjoy extending color, almost testing color to see how far it can take me as an artist. I learn by doing, experimenting, inhaling and exhaling the combination of chemistry and creativity. This is powerful.
