City girl by James Archer Art in Melbourne

I was comisioned to paint this artwork for an estate agents in leeds, UK. The client was quite open to ideas and gave me free reign on the design. This is always exiting as I get to choose what I think will make for the best piece of art. I decided to go with a neon style female portrait, this is a recurring theme in my artwork, I love to paint girls! I matched the colours of the city scape in the background to the face, usually i would try and contrast the background colours to the centrepiece but in this instance I think it works quite well. This project took 4 days to complete in total, and I must say I'm verry happy with it ! ?
