Circle of Serenity
This installation was made for Seven Sisters Festival in 2024. With the help of some amazing human beings, I constructed this beautiful arch made primarily out of branches and sticks from the land. We also utilised some poles from a broken greenhouse as the base.
To finish off the space, I made a selenite grid in conjunction with the full moon that weekend. 🌕 This is the biggest installation I've made thus far which I want to pursue more of.
I love playing with organic materials to create something completely different. I feel that it breathes a second life to the materials that were once alive, and gives them an opportunity to share its energy in a completely different light.
If you have an idea for something that you'd like me to put together, send me a message and let's have a conversation. No idea is too crazy. Installations can be impermanent and disassembled after an event, or set up for more permanency. My original concept was actually half the size of the final outcome 😅

Mooroolbark, AustraliaHi there! I’m Germaine, the artist behind Empath Designs. I create visionary art and organic installations that inspire mindfulness, transformation, and self-discovery. My work blends sacred geometry, symbolism, and vibrant detail to create art that is both visually striking and deeply meaningful.
With a Bachelor of Multimedia Design (Honours) and over 13 years as a graphic and web designer, I now focus fully on my art practice. I primarily create my art digitally (vector art using Illustrator) and create sculptural installations from organic materials, intended as statement pieces for events/festivals. I love exploring how art can transform spaces, spark reflection, and invite people to connect with the present moment.
When I’m not creating, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my family, discovering new food spots, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or going indoor bouldering.
