Meet the Artist
Nottingham, United KingdomHello! I'm Lily, the freelance illustration artist behind Lily Faye Illustration. Based in Nottinghamshire, I share my home with my two dogs and husband. As the owner and sole trader of my business, I’m passionate about creating art that draws from the beauty of nature, animals, and folklore.
A little about me: I graduated from the University of Lincoln in the summer of 2017 with a 2:1 degree in Illustration Design. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to growing my portfolio, honing my skills, and working as a freelance illustrator. Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of working with an art licensing company, designing my zine, and creating an album cover for an up-and-coming indie band. In addition to that, I’ve been running a small online shop and selling my artwork at local craft fairs in Nottingham.
My work is heavily inspired by my love for animals and the natural world, often using bold, vibrant colours paired with intricate blackwork detailing to bring my illustrations to life.
