Childrens Waiting and Changing Area by Pete in Wakefield
Childrens Waiting and Changing Area
Inspired by Mr Benn a BBC 70's children’s cartoon, this kids changing area for a fashion photography commissioned brief was to decorate a waiting/changing room. The mural needed to entertain and engage children and adults in a fun and relaxing way to ease the anxiety and boredom between shoots. Designed to look like a fancy-dress shop with fake door, and for the eagle eyed, over 30 costumes or props to identify from film and TV. Brush painted on plaster.

Wakefield, United KingdomFor over 30 years I have been a noteworthy contributor in the commercial creative industry, providing high calibre hand painted and digital illustration and design.
Offering a collaborative design process, working alongside the customer to identify the ideal path to creating eye-catching, WoW factor, public engagement.
I revel in the texture, freedom and flow of paint and I am often found splattered in colour from head to toe.
As much at home working on high profile product campaigns with uncompromising strict brand guidelines, as I am painting pooh bear surfing a Cornish beach for your child's playroom.
I have spent the last year working closely with marketing and content team at Studio Retail to create a unique ‘Brand Aware’ working environment across their multiple studio spaces, creating murals, scenic backdrops and faux finishes, working within brand guidelines to an open flexible brief.
